This Olympia property had a section that was completely taken over by dense brush and undergrowth. The owner had usable land sitting right there - they just couldn't get to it. That's one of the most common situations we run into. The vegetation keeps creeping, and eventually you stop fighting it.

We brought in a Kubota excavator fitted with a forestry mulching drum attachment to work through the overgrown section. That setup is the key piece here. Instead of cutting brush and piling it up for haul-away, the mulching head grinds everything - stems, roots, leaves - right down into the ground. No dump runs. No debris staging. The material just becomes a layer of mulch spread across the cleared area.

What that means for the property owner is a faster, cleaner job without the added cost of debris removal. You're not paying for a second trip with a trailer. The mulch layer left behind also helps suppress future weed growth and protects the soil. It's a smarter way to handle brush clearing on larger residential lots like this one.

The cleared section opened up a solid portion of the property that had basically been written off. The mature trees were left standing, the understory got cleaned out, and now there's actual usable ground where there wasn't before. That kind of land reclamation work makes a real difference in how a property functions day to day - whether you're looking to add lawn space, put in a garden, or just stop losing ground to the brush every season.

If your land is doing the same thing - slowly getting taken over and feeling smaller every year - this is exactly the kind of work we do. Forestry mulching and brush clearing on residential properties across the Olympia area is something we handle regularly, and jobs like this one show how much of a difference the right equipment makes.
