This property in Belfair had a lot going on - blackberry thickets climbing up barn walls, pasture areas choked with tall weeds, fence lines buried in brush, and trail corridors that had pretty much disappeared into the woods. The kind of overgrowth that doesn't happen overnight, but once it gets ahead of you, it takes real equipment to fight it back.

We brought in the Kubota KX040 with a forestry mulching head and got to work on all of it. Around the barns, along the fencing, through the wooded trail areas - the mulching head handles dense brush and thick blackberry canes without leaving a mess of debris behind. Everything gets chipped down right where it stands, which means no hauling, no burning, and no piles sitting around.

Rural properties like this one are exactly what our land clearing and brush clearing work is built for. Barns and outbuildings that get hemmed in by overgrowth are harder to access, harder to maintain, and in fire-prone areas, they carry real risk. Clearing that fuel load away from structures is a core part of what we do - whether a property owner is working toward a Firewise plan or just wants their land back.

We also opened up the wooded trail corridor running along the tree line. That stretch had ferns and ground cover completely blocking the path. A few passes with the mulcher and you've got clean, walkable access through the trees again. Same result along the fence lines - usable ground on both sides, easier to check fence condition, easier to move animals and equipment.
